Workshop Terms and Conditions

The following Terms and Conditions apply to all persons (“you”) who purchase a ticket for and/or attend any workshop, seminar, or training (“Workshop”) organized by Voyage & Vanquish, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). Please read through these Terms and Conditions carefully and ensure that you understand them. We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions from time to time in our sole discretion and you will be bound by the Terms and Conditions in effect at the time of your registration.

Acceptance. By completing the registration form and submitting payment for the Registration Fee for a Workshop, you are agreeing to the Terms and Conditions set forth herein. Any employees, partners, agents, contractors, or other persons attending the Workshop on your behalf will be expected to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

Payment. The fee to attend a Workshop (the “Registration Fee”) will be as stated on our website, www.designindenver.com, for the relevant Workshop as may be updated from time to time. Payment of the Registration Fee is due at the time of registration via our online payment processor. All payments are processed through a third-party credit card processor and your credit card information will not be stored or held on our servers.

Refund Policy. You may cancel your registration for a Workshop up to seventy-two (72) hours in advance of the Workshop. Cancellations made within 72 hours of the Workshop will not be entitled to a refund, though we may, in our sole discretion, issue a full or partial refund on a case-by-case basis. Cancellation and refund requests must be sent via email to hello@voyageandvanquish.com. In the event that we need to cancel the Workshop, you will receive a full refund of the Registration Fee.

Waiver of Liability. We will take all reasonable measures to ensure your safety at a Workshop. However, some things are out of our control and, for this reason, you are fully responsible for your safety, health, and well-being during a Workshop. You further agree that you are fully and solely responsible for any property or personal belongings that you may bring with you to a Workshop. BY REGISTERING FOR A WORKSHOP AND SUBMITTING THE REGISTRATION FEE, YOU HEREBY ACCEPT ALL RISK TO YOUR HEALTH INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE RISK OF DEATH OR BODILY INJURY THAT MAY RESULT FROM ATTENDING A WORKSHOP AND YOU HEREBY RELEASE US AND OUR OFFICERS, OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, SPONSORS, SPEAKERS, CONTRACTS, AGENTS, AND ASSIGNS (THE INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY, THE “RELEASED PARTIES”), ON BEHALF OF YOURSELF AND YOUR HEIRS, REPRESENTATIVES, AND ASSIGNS, FROM ALL LIABILITY FOR ANY AND ALL CLAIMS AND CAUSES OF ACTION FOR LOSS OF OR DAMAGE TO YOUR PERSONAL PROPERTY AND FOR ANY AND ALL ILLNESS OR INJURY TO YOU, INCLUDING DEATH, THAT MAY RESULT FROM OR OCCUR DURING YOUR ATTENDANCE AT A WORKSHOP, WHETHER CAUSED BY OUR NEGLIGENCE, THE NEGLIGENCE A RELEASED PARTY, OR OTHERWISE.

Disclaimer; Limitation of Liability. The information and materials provided or made available at a Workshop are intended to be informational and educational only and should not be a substitute for the services of trained professionals in any field, including, without limitation, mental, financial, medical, legal, or accounting. We do not offer any professional personal, medical, financial, or legal advice and none of the information contained or provided in the Workshop should be confused as such advice. Neither we nor our assigns, sponsors, instructors, speakers, contractors or any of their affiliates will be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, special, exemplary, or other damages to you or your business, including economic loss, that may result from your attendance at the Workshop or from the use of, or the inability to use, the materials, information, or strategies communicated or provided through the Workshop or any products or services provided pursuant to the Workshop, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Indemnification. You expressly agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from liability for the injury or death of any person(s) and damage to property that may result from my negligent or intentional acts or omissions while attending a Workshop.

Photo & Video Release. By attending a Workshop, you understand and acknowledge that portions of the Workshop’s live events may be recorded in video and audio and/or photographed. You agree that we, and our assigns, have the right and permission to use such video or photos should they include your name, likeness, voice, biographical details, testimonial, or photograph for marketing, advertising, or for any other purpose whatsoever in any media or format, online and/or offline, now and in the future without further compensation, permission, or notification to you. You understand and agree that all recordings and photos from a Workshop and all right, title, and interest in and to said recordings or photos are and shall remain our property.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado without regard to its conflict of laws principles. You further agree that any action arising out of or related to these Terms and Conditions and/or your registration, attendance, or participation in a Workshop must be brought exclusively in any state or federal court located in the City and County of Denver, Colorado, and you hereby submit to the jurisdiction of those courts.

By registering for a Workshop or checking a box indicating your consent to and acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, you hereby acknowledge and agree that you have fully read and understand the provisions contained herein and that you intend to be fully bound by these Terms and Conditions.
